Autumn in Ouray

Scenic peaks, glowing yellow aspen, and the cobalt blue flight of a Steller's Jay. That is Ouray in fall to me. Well worth a visit any time of year, I painted this partly to remind myself not to miss the fall aspens there. The beauty of nature is a healing elixir any time of year. Fall beauty helps strengthen my spirit with vivid memories to face the coming cold and sometimes drab colors of Colorado winter.
